High-Tech Break-Up

10Mar08

TV girl (host/critic/commentator) Rachel Marsden says her ex-boyfriend who happens to be Wikipedia’s founder Jimmy Wales announced their breakup on Wikipedia’s forums. To retaliate, Rachel is selling her ex-boyfriend’s smelly T-shirt on eBay.

My suggestions for future breakups or hookups:

- register a domain name to announce that you’re with someone: www.imwith().com

- use twitter and facebook to tell us what’s happening: getting rid of the girlfriend

    Will this do?

That’s not a high-tech breakup, that’s an insensitive breakup made very public by a troubled person! I don’t understand why people get so nasty when they have to part ways.

For your question, I suggest people break up by sending SMS or via IM, because I am profoundly against public breakups. That’s not nice at all.

Dave, did you find this on postsecert.com?

Tololy, the wikipedia announcement is very tasteless I agree but selling his T-shirt on eBay is actually flattering.
